Special Education Department

Milan High School is a full-inclusion setting for students receiving special education services. The services outlined in a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) are coordinated by a dedicated Teacher Consultant/Case Manager with additional collaboration from other certified services providers, qualified paraprofessionals, and that student's classroom teachers. Students at Milan High School are supported in accessing the general education curriculum and encourged toward academic success. Throughtout grades 9-12, they are guided in self-advocacy and directed toward a post-secondary pathway that connects with their ability, strengths, and interests.
