Special Education Department

Milan High School is a full-inclusion setting for students receiving special education services. The services outlined in a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) are coordinated and provided by a Teacher Consultant/Case Manager with support from paraprofessionals. Students at Milan High School are supported in accessing the general education curriculum and encourged toward academic success. Throughtout grades 9-12, they are guided in self-advocacy and directed toward a post-secondary pathway that connects with their ability, strengths, and interests.
