SET SEG Trade Scholarship - Due March 27, 2026. This $1000 scholarship is for students who have been enrolled in a Career and Technical Education Program during high school – transcript required. Students must be enrolled in, or plan to enroll in, an accredited two- or four-year college, technical school, or other accredited technical institute after graduation.

Pamela S. Dafoe Scholarship - Due March 15, 2026. Offered by the Lenawee County Education Foundation, this brand new scholarship is available for Milan High School students who plan on entering the field of education. Applicants must create an account here and then apply for the scholarship. 

Margrette Ann Taylor Memorial Scholarship - Due Friday, March 16, 2026. The eligibility requirements for this $2,000 scholarship are as follows: Female African American senior with a minimum 2.8 GPA from a high school in the Washtenaw County area or Benton Harbor. 750-1000 word essay. Official transcript. Demonstrate active participation in the community. Current headshot. 

LMCU Hutt Scholarship - Due December 15, 2025: This $2,000 scholarship is for high school seniors who are residents of Michigan. For more information, visit their website here.    

MEA (Michigan Education Association) Scholarship Information

  • Dependent of MEA member or MEA-Retired member in good standing

  • Priority is given on the basis of academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, school and community service. 

Blavin Scholarship - This scholarship is for students admitted to the University of Michigan who have experienced Foster Care, Kinship Care, or are navigating college without the support of a parent/guardian.

The Donovan Xavier Baker Scholarship Fund - This scholarship is for African American male students between the ages of 17 and 22 who reside in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, or Washtenaw County and are planning on attending a two-year school, four-year school, trade school, or technical college. 

The Michigan Relocation Council Scholarship - This scholarship is for current high school seniors who have relocated into Detroit, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo Public Schools and their surrounding counties over the course of their high school career. To qualify for the scholarship, the student must have relocated more than 50 miles sometime between grades 9 and 12 and changed schools due to their family’s relocation. The applicant must also have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
